Sustainability at RCHWaste becomes building material
In terms of volume, construction and demolition waste is one of the largest sources of waste in Austria. In view of increasing resource depletion, the reuse of recycled building materials makes a valuable contribution to the sustainable use of natural raw materials.
The processing of construction waste into recycled products creates high-quality secondary building materials. This enables us to help close material cycles and conserve raw materials and primary products. The reuse of materials is therefore fully in line with a sustainable circular economy and protects the environment.
Our building materials meet the highest quality standards
The production of recycled building materials places high quality demands on the materials. To ensure that we can meet these high standards, all our products are subject to ongoing strict controls.
To ensure environmentally friendly use, we have the quality of our recycled building materials tested annually by an external specialist institute. The aim of this inspection is to determine and ensure the structural and environmental engineering properties in accordance with ÖNORM EN 12620:2017 and ÖNORM EN 13242:2014.
In addition, we regularly subject all products to our own in-house production control in accordance with ÖNORM EN 12620:2014 and ÖNORM EN 13242:2014. This ensures that our customers only receive materials of the highest quality class U-A.
The products of RCH Recycling Center Himberg GmbH carry the quality mark for recycled building materials, which is awarded by the Austrian Quality Protection Association. This quality mark is only awarded to companies that distinguish themselves through particularly high quality standards, independent control and traceable production of recycled building materials in accordance with the state of the art.
